Seniors who would like to attend MUST fill out the following survey and return a permission form: https://goo.gl/forms/KdwDGT0WKIpaGVav1. Visit Mrs. Minor for permission form.
Important Deadlines
- FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) deadlines: Seniors, keep an eye out for FAFSA priority filing deadlines. These vary by college/university. Most students who are going to a four-year school should file ASAP! You may file past the priority deadline, but you may not be able to receive grant (Free) money if you have waited too long. Remember, you will use your parents' 2017 tax returns on this form. If you are an independent student (if you are in a LEGAL guardianship, a foster child, etc.) you will use your own tax returns only. If your parents are divorced, you will use information from the parent who you live with the most. Submit your FAFSA now and fafsa.gov. Ms. Taylor and Mrs. Hummer are available for appointments for those who need assistance.
- Decision Day deadlines: Seniors who wish to attend our Decision Day celebrations should turn in permission slips to Ms. Taylor by April 19th. All documentation should also be submitted by this date.
- Tuition deposits: If you are planning to attend a four-year college: Pay close attention to tuition deposit deadlines. Most four-year schools have a deadline of May 1st. Be prepared to pay the deposit by these deadlines. Deposits usually range from $250-$500. If you are unable to pay the deposit, call the school's admissions department ahead of time.
