Speak Up, We Care

Speak Up, We Care! Did you know that IUSD provides mental health and wellness supports to all students and families?

The Speak Up, We Care Initiative connects students and families to IUSD mental health and wellness resources. This year’s themed newsletters - - Link Up, Be Kind, and Be Well - - provide tips on how you can build your child’s resilience. We are now entering our third and final theme of the Speak Up, We Care Initiative - - “Be Well” - - which focuses on the significance of balancing physical and mental health; relationships; school; and work.

Please click on the Speak Up, We Care link (www.iusd.org/WeCare) for:

  1. IUSD mental health and wellness resources.
  2. The “Be Well” Elementary School Newsletter for information on tips for improving your child’s wellness and how you can put it into practice.

Check out the “Parent/Guardian Challenge” and feel free to post about how you engaged in one outdoor activity with your child (#speakupwecare).
