The Amazing Race
Digital Learning Edition: Race Leg 4
A Bold Approach to Blended Learning
When it comes to learning, don't be afraid to mix it up!
With all the technology available to us, there are so many ways we can use it to positively impact student learning. Many teachers are leveraging the power of technology to support face-to-face instructional class time with online resources, assignments, and activities. As a result, students are empowered with some element of control over time, place, path, and or pace. In this leg of the journey, you will learn what it means to have a blended learning environment, why blended learning is a viable option in today's classrooms, and some tools that will help you get started with this student-centered model. We will focus mainly on Edmodo and Edpuzzle and you will submit and share your task for the week on Twitter!
Step 1: Watch the Race Leg 2 Overview Video.
Step 2: Watch the Scenic Route or Express Pass Video.
Step 3: Complete the Scenic Route or Express Pass Task.
Step 4: Submit your completed task on Twitter using the hashtag #amazingfbisd.
