Building our 21st Century Skills
Technological opportunities to help you grow!
December 9, 2015
After a one and a half year haitus, the High School Studio Station is back on the air! There are many people to thank for getting the station rewired and up to date, but just having the station ready to go, doesn't mean it will go on the air. Someone must study the software and schematics and put the production in place. Joseph and Jaren, sophomores at MVSHS, stepped up to the challenge and made this happen. Thanks to their experience and training from Jr. High days in Studio 92 and with Dave Purvis, they were able to make connections from previous programs and apply them to the new software. So with a tweak here and a tweak there, they streamed live at 9:25 for the first time on Monday, Nov. 30. Now the boys are beginning to take on new members in the studio. Jacob has volunteered his time to assist with teleprompting, anchoring, and technical support. Others will be coming on board as anchors and co-anchors.
