Grasslands

The ecosystem we learned about.

What is a grassland?

Grasslands are big open spaces. The animals that live there have adapted to the dry and windy climate for example the warthog has adapted to the dry weather by using their tusks to dig for food. No other habitat is as agriculturally useful to humans.

Fun Facts

Grasslands are located between deserts and forests most of the time. They are located on every continent except Antarctica. If it rains too much a grassland can turn into a forest, but if it rains to little it can turn into a desert, but this will happen over time.
