WSMS Principal Newsletter
October 12, 2022
Next week we would like to invite you to our second installment of Coffee With the Principal. We will be addressing topics that are the "hard to ask questions" about middle school. We encourage you to send us some questions beforehand privately, through the form below and we can address those concerns without parents having to ask in front of everyone. We know that there are some unique challenges that middle schoolers face and we want you as parents to have as much information as you can to help navigate these special years. We look forward to seeing you on October 19th at 9:30 here at Willow Springs to take part in that conversation!
Chris Koder

Lovejoy Letter Campaign
It’s that time of year again to celebrate our amazing teachers and staff with our Lovejoy Letter Writing Campaign! Many of you are familiar with this beloved tradition, but for those of you who are not, it is the time of year when current and past students and parents write appreciation letters for each of our teachers and staff members across the district.
The letters do not have to be elaborate or lengthy. The goal is just for people to write a note of thanks to show gratitude to their teachers, the staff and administration in our district. It is an opportunity for us to take the time to let each person who makes a difference for us throughout the school day know how much we value them.
Please clearly label the envelope with the staff/teacher’s name and LLC (Lovejoy Letter Campaign) and return the letter to the box located in the designated area at your school no later than Friday November 11th.
The letter writing campaign has become such a meaningful tradition in our district. We really appreciate your time and effort to help us tell our teachers and staff thank you for all that they do!
