High Clouds
6 Kilometers and upward
Small amount of water vapor and low temps
Thin, white, and composed of ice
Middle Clouds
2 - 6 kilometers
composed of H2O
Low Clouds
2 kilometers and below
occur as general overcast often widespread and are associated with somber skies and drizzly rain
Vertical Clouds
Low bases but reaches of 15 kilometers
Indicate very active vertical movement in the air
Fog
Cloud that forms on the ground
