As we enter this shortened school week, please check in with your student regarding their progress in their classes. Wednesday and Thursday of this week will provide a great opportunity for you to come in and meet with your student's teachers, as well as take part in a student-led conference. The extra days could provide your student with some extra time to get class work completed as well. Have a great week!

This was another busy week at McKay High School. Below you will see many of the activities that took place this week for example, our Unified soccer tournament on Friday , October 14 vs South, North, and Sprague. McKay joined forces with West Salem to combine teams and a lot of fun was had by all.

Later in the week, we hosted our annual Powder Puff game. Our senior class of 2023 faced off against the juniors class of 2024. The juniors eventually pulled out the win, but the real competition took place off of the field. Both classes organized cheer squads (see pictures below) that battled back and forth throughout this fun event.

Our Powder Puff event was a great representation of our school community, thank you to all that participated and helped organize the event.

As a reminder, when our McKay community is together, we have a shared responsibility to one another to maintain a welcoming and safe environment, both while in school and at after school sport events. We enjoy celebrating our students and their successes. Please join all of us to be respectful in word and action while we celebrate our community!

Backpacks/large bags and outside food or drinks are no longer allowed during co-curricular events. Also remember, once you leave, you will not be allowed re-entry.
