Bulldog Bulletin - July Updates
Together We: Learn, Grow, Lead
New Information
Chromebooks
As part of Chesterfield County Public Schools’ plan to start the school year in a virtual learning environment, all K-12 students will be provided with a personal learning device for use at home or school when we eventually return to in-person instruction. Any registered Grange Hall Elementary School student not yet assigned a school division-issued Chromebook can come to the gym on August 5 between 7:30-11 a.m. or 2:30-6 p.m.
No appointment is necessary, but facial coverings or masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed. Your student does not have to personally attend, but parents are asked to provide their child's student ID number in order to receive a Chromebook.
If you are unable to make our school’s assigned distribution date, please visit the Hot Topics section of the CCPS webpage (https://mychesterfieldschools.com/category/hot-topics/) to locate the best time at the nearest school to you.
Unlike previous years, there is no Chromebook fee this school year. There are no forms to complete either. Hotspots will not be available at this event. If you have Internet-access needs, please contact our school directly.
ParentVUE Survey
- Our registrar is currently working on approving all updates in Synergy for families that were able to complete that process. Once those approvals are made, you will then be able to access the survey (if you haven't already).
- New GHES families and rising Kindergarten families received a survey from CCPS yesterday.
Reminders
Yearbook production was delayed due to COVID-19. We anticipate a late August delivery to the school, and we will create and communicate a plan at that time. If you didn't get to order and would like to now, please purchase via this link https://www.ghpta.com/order-yearbook - deadline July 31, 2020. Yearbooks are now $36 each.
New Student Registration
New student registrations are available by appointment. Call (804) 739-6265 for more information and to set your appointment.
Kindergarten Registration
For families that have not already scheduled an appointment to complete registration paperwork for their KG child, we will be setting up appointments using the Sign-Up Genius below. For these appointments, just 1 parent should attend. Unfortunately, we are asking for just 1 person and no children right now.
You will need to bring the following items:

Original Birth Certificate
If you are not the homeowner or leaseholder, you will need to bring the person you reside with, their deed/lease agreement, and 2 pieces of mail in your name that shows the address.
Please contact our main office at (804) 739-6265 to schedule an appt.
