LIFT Weekly Update

All about the Student Ministries at First Baptist Covington

Hey, everybody!

It is an exciting time to be a part of our youth ministry! It is such a blessing to see great adults pouring into our students' lives week after week, and even more of a joy to see our students grow in the Lord, with many moving toward baptism for the first time! Praise the Lord for the work He is doing among us!

PRAYER BREAKFAST FINALLY RETURNS TOMORROW! Our students are so excited to get back into the Prayer Breakfast routine! We'll serve food at 7am and 8am, and provide transportation to NCTS, Peachtree, Eastside, Cousins, Indian Creek, and homeschools. Please call Matt if you need to arrange transportation to another school. And please remember that students who drive themselves to school are NOT allowed to carry other students from Prayer Breakfast to school.

LIFT is happening as usual this week. We will get to help out the BGR Bucket Project by packing some hospice relief buckets to be sent to Africa. Plus, we'll have some great worship and the conclusion of our series called UNITED that covers the first 3 chapters of 1 Corinthians! Be there ready to grow 6-7:30pm!

Then, Sunday we've got our awesome Sunday School classes, which will be starting the new Gospel Project Chronological Curriculum, which will match up with the children's studies, but go much deeper.

There is NO LifeLine Bible Study this week because of Labor Day.
