Classroom teachers will contact you directly if their schedule is different from the times below. Make sure to schedule your in person or virtual conference with the teacher to discuss your child's progress so far. We are aiming for 100% participation!
MWES Library Book Fair
The library is hosting a book fair the week of Parent/Teacher Conferences! The fair will be held in the school foyer. Students in 1st through 4th grade will preview the book selection on October 18th with their class. The book fair will be open for purchases after school on October 18th (3:15-7:30), October 19th (3:15-6:30), and October 20th (3:15-5:00). Mini-Blitz PTO Fundraiser was a success!!
The due date for the mini-blitz was last Friday and all of the money has been counted! However, we will still accept money turned in this week. We know life can get crazy! As a reminder, for every $25 a student raised their name will be entered into a drawing for 2 bicycles and 4 gift certificates to Beans & Things. Ms. Pala will draw for these prizes during the afternoon announcements (1:45 PM) on Friday.
- 147 students brought in money
- $12,808 was raised
- 73 students raised $100 or more dollars (which means they earned a lunch with me)
Ms. Pala will create an invitation for the student with the date we will have the lunch and put that in the teachers' mailbox. We will purchase more playground equipment with the money. Ms. Pala received quotes on adding an obstacle course, gaga pits, portable basketball hoops and blacktop games which the PTO will discuss at the November meeting on the 4th at 6 PM.
