Spring 2014 Workshops

Oakland Schools Educational Technology is offering three workshops this spring. Laura is facilitating two workshops that look at how iPads can be used in education. She is also running a workshop on Google spreadsheets and forms in the classroom.

Google Certification Academy - Summer 2014

We are very pleased to be hosting the Google Certification Academy here at Oakland Schools (REMC 17) during the summer of 2014. For more information about the academy, click here.

The application to apply for a scholarship to pay the $280 registration fee for the Google Certification Academy will close on Sunday, March 9 at 10 PM. Click here to apply.

Registration for the academy will open shortly after the scholarships are awarded.

21f Toolkit

MVU is organizing an online toolkit of resources to support districts as they implement the 21f legislation that expands online learning for grades 5-12. Click here to access the toolkit.

TWICE Password for March & April

The TWICE password for the months of March and April is “Spring Time” Use this password when booking events through the TWICE discount partners, COSI Columbus; North Central Ohio Education Service Center (LEARNnco); the Cleveland Institute of Music; Mote Marine Laboratory and the Cleveland Museum of Art.

Let teachers know that this password is to be used for any events booked during the months above regardless of which month the event will be held. They should place it, along with the word TWICE in the other, notes, or comments section of the provider’s registration site.
