About the Creator
Hi! My name is Reagan; I am in Mrs. Jackson's fifth grade class. After talking with my mom about some ideas, I came to Mrs. Jackson at the end of October with the idea about doing a toy drive. After a couple weeks of preparing, my idea was given a thumbs up from Ms. Chatman! I have always enjoyed finding ways to help others and I wanted to start a toy drive so that I can help children who don't get the chance to receive great toys like I do each year.
This is the hospital where some of our toys will be sent!
This is what we are collecting for our drive!
This is where some of our other gifts will be going!
Information about the drive
When, Where, and More Information
I am hosting a toy drive and need your help! If you'd like to help, you can send new/packaged toys to Mrs. Jackson's room (room 27) from November 30 - December 16. The toys that are donated will be sent to a Pediatric Oncology unit at the University of Virginia Hospital and to the Louisa County Santa Council. We are going to be wrapping the gifts as well, so if you are interested in donating any unwanted wrapping paper, that would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much for your support and help with our 5th grade MNES toy drive!
Reagan McAdams and Mrs. Jackson
I am so excited to help Reagan kick off this toy drive. It is for a great cause and at such a wonderful time of the year. It is really important to learn to give back to the community that you are a part of and I really think this is a great way for our 5th grade class to do that! We have a goal of raising 60 toys within the grade level and every little bit will really help! You can track our progress on my website. Thank you so much for your support
