The following is current information in our community. I just wanted to share with you different resources that are available not only for our students families, but maybe someone you know outside of the school setting. If you want contact numbers or more information I would be happy to share! I will also be sending out an email about a Multi-Industry Hiring Event next week.

Sept. 15 Drug Endangered Children Training CMH 9 am – 1 pm. Open to the public. Contact Health Department for information

Sept 26 Wilkinson Dental at 1902 E Battlefield Rd, Ste A, Springfield MO is offering a FREE cleaning OR extraction OR filling to those 18 yrs and older who do not have insurance to cover it on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 8 am – 5 pm.

Oct. 22 PAT development screenings, as well as vision & hearing checks for children ages 0 – 5 years (Polk County) at CMH from 9 am – 6 pm

Nov 8 First Baptist has the clothing drive. This is a free service were families are provided a Wal-Mart bag to fill with clothing. I believe it's one bag per family member. Information will come to the school to go home with each student.

Ongoing, FREE Health Clinic Monday & Friday from 9 am – 4 pm and the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month from 5 – 7 pm: Available to Polk County resident with NO insurance. Recipients do need to have an appointment.
