For the coming Iowa caucus, it is said that Cruz has moved to second place with 23% support which is almost double what he had two weeks ago, unfortunately Carson has fallen to third with 18% support, down 10 percentage points from his 1st-place perch, a month ago when he lead Trump 28% to 20%. Ted Cruz has replaced Ben Carson as Donald Trump's chief GOP presidential primary rival in Iowa. The latest Des Moines Register-Bloomberg Politics Iowa Poll released in recent days shows us that Carson is in 4th place, at 11%, behind Ted Cruz, Donald Trump, and Marco Rubio respectively. Carson's goal is to surpass Rubio of Florida to finish no better than third. An interesting point is that Carson's campaign manager and chief spokesman resigned last month.
