Bonillas Family Update
1/8/2023
Message from the Principal
Dear Parents and Community Members,
Happy New Year to all extraordinary members of the Bonillas community. Thank you for an outstanding 2022. I know that this coming year will bring the same, if not more, joy, happiness and inspiration as last year.
Please be on the look out for paper report cards that will go home on Tuesday, Jan.10th. Please pay close attention to days presents, areas of growth and next steps for your student. Parent teacher conferences are coming in February. If you have concerns or want to learn more about how you can support your student(s), please set up a meeting with the teacher.
Have a wonderful and safe week,
Frankie Schiavone

Health Office Update
- Please make sure your child is up to date on their immunizations. Remember to schedule an appointment for your child’s upcoming 11-year-old immunizations. A notice will be mailed home if your child is not up to date. The Pima County Health Department Clinics offers immunization services on the weekdays with no appointment needed. For more information, please call our health office 520-232-6616.
Misc. Updates
- Tardies and Early pick-up both contribute to lost instructional time in the classroom. Students who are tardy or picked up early will receive a Lunch and Learn per Bonillas’ policy. If students are sick, they will need to provide a doctor's note to the front office.
- Registration and Enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year is open! Please complete registration for next year.
Family Engagement
- LOST AND FOUND is located in our Caring Café next to the stage. If you know your student has misplaced their jacket, please ask them to look in the Café during breakfast or lunch.
- For family assistance please feel free to contact our Family Liaison Ms. Maria Ruiz via email at maria.ruizacosta@tusd1.org or via phone 520-232-6622.
