BELL BANDIT
JACQUELINE DAVIES
REVIEWED BY DANA GRADE 5
“Ding! Ding! Ding!” That’s the bell on top of Lovell’s Hill. Evan and Jessie go to their grandmother’s house after she gets injured from a fire. Jessie discovers that the New Year’s Eve bell is gone. Evan and Jessie can’t let grandma discovered that the bell is gone, so it is up to them to find it. Evan is caught up fixing the hole in grandma’s wall from the fire. That means it is up to Jessie and Maxwell to find the bell. Jessie and Maxwell spied on to boys because they thought they took the bell. There was no evidence that the two boys stole the bell. Who did?
I thought this book was not as good as the first two. The plot was not as interesting as the Lemonade War and the Lemonade Crime. One reason why I thought it was okay is because it made you think. I thought the ending was bad because it was just like My Parents Gave My Bedroom To A Biker.. The ending was bad.
I recommend this book to people that like mysteries. Also people that liked the first to books. The last person/people I recommend this book to is people in 3rd 4th and 5th grade. Don’t you want to know who stole the bell.
