Important 1:1 Chrome Book Announcement!
PLEASE help remind your child to make sure their device is charged each night.
In an effort to maintain uninterrupted instruction, students are responsible for bringing a fully charged device to class. Classrooms do not have the capacity to charge all devices and it is impracticable to assume you will be able to charge your device at school.
Tips:
*make it part of your evening routine
*Keep your charger with your Chromebook at all times

If You Bring Your Own Device to School...Read this!
In order to maintain instruction in classrooms, when students who bring their own device do not have a working device for class instruction, UMS will provide a loaner Chromebook to them for the day. They are to return this device before the end of the school day. We would like to let you know that students are responsible for any damage to the loaner Chromebook that may occur while the Chromebook is assigned to them.
It is important for students who bring their own device, that they make sure they are able to troubleshoot their own device, that it is fully charged and they have their charger with them. FCPS staff are not allowed to store, support, or troubleshoot student owned devices.

Alternative Meal for Students whose Lunch Accounts are Empty
Due to a large jump in students trying to purchase lunches without having any money or close to a zero balance in their lunch account, an alternative meal of cheese sticks, granola bars, and water will be provided the student until the account balance has been updated. Unfortunately, some staff members have been supporting student lunches out of their own pocket and the allocation the school provides to support lunches has been used already.
