The start of a beginning

Andrew Warhola (Known as Andy Warhol) was born on August 6, 1928, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Andys parents were Slovakian immigrants. His father worked as a construction worker, while his mother was an embroiderer. At the age of 8, Andy developed a rare disease that messes up the nervous system called Chorea. Which can be sometimes deadly. It left him sick, and bedridden for months. While he was ill, his mother gave him art lessons, and at the age of 9, his mother gave him a Camera. Around that age, that's what led him to become interested in Art. At the age of 14, Andys father passed away of a bad liver. Andy was depressed, but in that same year Andy graduated High School and enrolled in Carnegie Institute for technology to study pictorial design.

On July 3, 1968, a angry actress Valarie Solanas walked in Warhols studio and shot Warhol in the chest, in less than 30 minutes he was pronounced dead. But the doctors didn't give up, so they performed open heart surgery, and massaged his heart. After the surgery was over, Andy did wake up, but it took a long time to recover.

On Febuary 21, 1987, Andy had to get another surgery done for his gallbladder. Everything went fine, but for an unknown reason Andy passed away expectantly.
