What We Are Learning This Week
We are in our STAAR Camp rotations. Students are being pulled for small groups and reviewing all of the topics we have learned this year! Your student may be bringing home work pages to be reviewed.
Below is the multiplication song for students to learn their skip counting! This is a great song to listen to at night or in the car. Open it and save it for easy access!
As you know, this week and next week are All STAAR camp weeks. All STAAR camp is a fun format for reviewing and securing specific reading comprehension skills that your child may need.
- Students are writing their end-of-year personal narratives about a happy moment.
- Reviewing vocabulary for the next 3 weeks with a focus on using context clues, synonyms/antonyms, prefix/suffix, and poetry types.
- What are the different stages of life cycles? (Plants and animals)
- How have animals and plants adapted to survive in their environments?
Our focus the last 3 weeks of school will be economics.
