St. Mark School News
January 21, 2015
Dear Saint Mark Families,
Welcome to Catholic Schools Week! We look forward to this annual celebration of Catholic Education every winter. Catholic Schools Week is celebrated in dioceses throughout the nation. This year’s theme is “Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge, and Service”. We have many events planned this week including both teacher and student appreciation days, a special science demonstration, and Scholastic Book Fair.
We invite you to visit our Open House Sunday, January 25th from 12-2 PM. You may stop in and see our school, find registration information, browse the book fair, and meet our wonderful teachers. I’m so proud of all the teachers and students this year. Everyone is very enthusiastic, and I’m continually impressed with their progress.
As we celebrate our school this week, we thank Father Mooney, Father Sam, parents, guardians, teachers, and our parish community for all you do to benefit our students. It is through your leadership and participation that St. Mark School is able to continue our mission with integrity, enthusiasm, collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
God bless you,
Mrs. Sanson
