Book Fair This Week!

The book fair will be in the library the week of Nov. 13-17th. Proceeds from the fair allows the library to purchase new books and other needed items. This year our school library will reach out to another small town school library hit by Hurricane Harvey in Woodsboro, Texas by sharing a portion of the proceeds. Please stop by and show your support.

Ouch

A comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there.

Wise Words

Bruce Lee quotes:

*Knowledge will give you power, but character, respect.

*Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough, we must do.

Funny Because It's True

I don't always wake up early without an alarm, but when I do, it's a weekend.

Veteran's Day Ceremony

Last Friday the Granger school honored our veterans by remembering those who served to help our country have the freedom and privileges we all have the right to experience. Though students may not be able to fully comprehend what sacrifices were made, we hope it is realized the moment was not a chance to get out of class, but an opportunity to see beyond what they know - catching a glimpse of what was, is, and what will be, if appreciation and dedication is instilled in the hearts of the future to our country.

Pictured below: Getting ready for the ceremony and the Veteran's breakfast afterwards. Thank you to our Veterans and everyone involved in planning the event.
