Mill Valley Weekly
Thursday, September 5th
Hello Mill Valley Families,
We would like to thank all of you for your continued patience while our new bus company works out the kinks. Improvements are being made daily based on the feedback they have received.
It is hard to believe our Welcome Back to School Night was a week ago. In efforts to continuously improve we'd like to get your feedback on our August 28th Welcome Back to School Night. Please take this short survey to let us know how we did.

Mill Valley Let's GLOW Run & Gala
We have plenty of opportunities for new volunteers. Our events are only successful with the help of our amazing families. Please contact Jessica or Amber via our Mill Valley PTO Facebook page or at email@example.com.
We are looking for volunteers to help with our “Let’s Glow” Run + Gala on Friday, October 25th. Please contact us for more information. Join us on September 11th at 7pm in the MV Library for an information planning meeting.
HUMP DAY TREATS
Please sign up for “Hump Day” treats for our wonderful MV staff HERE: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040b4da5a82d6-humpday1.
Hump Day treats is a weekly staff appreciation tradition that puts smiles on the faces of staff every Wednesday. Pretzels and dip, fruit tray, cookies, bagels and donuts, homemade bars/cookies, sweet stuff, salty snacks, healthy or not - anything goes! Plan on bringing enough treats for 70 people to the staff lounge by 9:15 am on the Wednesday you sign up for.

Mill Valley Elementary Cub Scouts Pack 18
Boys and girls grades kindergarten through fifth grade are welcome!
Want to see what it’s all about?
Join us at the first Pack meeting of the school year, Monday, Sept. 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the Mill Valley cafeteria (enter through door #3).
The best way to find out what you do best is to do it! Catch a fish. Ride a bike. Set up a tent. Build a Pinewood Derby® car. Shoot a bow and arrow. Cub Scouting offers boys and girls the opportunity to see and learn fun, new things that can’t be found anywhere else.
Cub Scouting is a year-round program uniquely designed to meet the needs of young boys and girls (kindergarten through fifth grade) and their families. The program offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development and physical fitness. Family involvement is an essential part of the program, and parents are encouraged to play an active role. Cub Scouting helps parents make the most of the time they have to impact the lives of their children.
Have questions? Email Gary Genteman, Pack 18 administrator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Pack meetings typically held the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Mill Valley cafeteria and Den meetings are held monthly on a day selected by the Den leader.
