DID YOU KNOW?
Over the past two years, our District has started to integrate Universal Design for Learning (UDL) into the classroom. UDL is a framework to improve and optimize teaching and learning based on scientific insights as to how students learn. Overall, the goal of UDL is to continue to treat our students as individuals based on their needs. UDL recognizes learner variability and is a blueprint for creating instructional goals, methods, materials, and assessments that work for everyone. UDL is not a single “one size fits all” solution, but rather flexible approaches to teaching and learning. With UDL, learning opportunities are optimized for all students.

60 SECONDS WITH THE SUPERINTENDENT
Today our District wraps up a week of “Hello” as we joined hundreds of other schools from across the United States in participating in Start With Hello Week. Start With Hello Week generated attention to the growing epidemic of social isolation and empowered young people to create a culture of inclusion and connectedness within their school, from grades PK - 12. Click HERE for this week’s episode, as we see some of the examples and the impact this week has had at our different grade levels.
