Art - Photography and Video Recording Equipment
This Fall, the SMCS Art Department received a Grant from the Laker Educational Foundation. The Grant money was used to purchase equipment for creating digital portfolios, recording videos, and photographing student artwork. Students learned how to use a digital still camera and iPod Touches while digitizing their artwork for their Digital Portfolios that were used in student-led conferences. They also learned how to create videos explaining the artworks they created. In the coming weeks, they will be creating Green Screen videos to go with their Digital Portfolio. Student Council workers have also used the devices to photograph the artwork of the younger students that has been uploaded to Artsonia.com.
