Warm Air Rises
In the picture below, we learn that warm fluids rise and cold fluids sink. In our investigation, we observe movement and flow of the warm water (blue from food coloring) and cold water (clear). We were able to observe the warm (blue) water (in the two liter bottle on the bottom) rise and mix with the cold (clear) water (in the two liter bottle on the top).
