April 2016 News and Information
Dear Parent/Guardian,
We are really looking forward to a fun-filled April that will be focused on earth friendly activities in preparation for Earth Day this month.
It is hard to believe, but Spring, and hopefully nicer temperatures, have finally arrived. Students and staff are busily preparing for an active and engaging Spring. There is lots of work still to be done prior to moving on to the next academic year. Please continue to be supportive of your children's learning by asking questions and being involved in the work they are completing at school. With the warmer weather, we would like to remind everyone of the Dress Code, which is clearly laid out in the Student Agenda. Our Dress Code adheres to the Limestone and Ministry expectations and is enforced by all staff and adult volunteers. If you have any questions or concerns about the Code, please contact Mr. Allison or Mme Desbiens.
SCHOOL PARENT COUNCIL MEETING
Our next school Parent Council meeting will be on Wednesday April 13th, 2016 at 6 PM.
EARTH DAY - APRIL 22, 2016
Check out www.earthday.ca for other links and great ideas on celebrating Earth Day! We will be celebrating at the school on Earth Day, Friday April 22nd. We will be cleaning up some of the trash that has been left behind since the snow in the school yard and surrounding neighborhood.

TPCS CHOIR
Our choir will be hosting a Festival at TPCS on Tuesday April 26, 2016.
Safe Welcome has been operational for over a year at our school. Please press the "silver" button at the front door. Thank your for your patience while someone unlocks the door.
ENTRY AND EXIT PROCEDURE FOR STUDENTS:
Please review our entry and exit procedure for students below:
Entry procedure for students when the bell rings at 8AM
All students enter the building through their assigned door which will be opened for them. For safety reasons these doors are for student use only.
Exit procedure for students when the bell rings at 2:30PM
- Students are dismissed by their teacher and DO NOT come to the school foyer before 2:30 PM
- Due to congestion in the hallways at the end of the day, parents/guardians are asked to arrange a spot outside the building to meet their child.
Thank you for your cooperation. The safety of our students is our primary concern.
