Message from the Principal
I hope you're enjoying the beautiful sunny Sunday! This afternoon I will be with family in Rhode Island. My brother Ramon, his wife Isabel, and my nephew Maksim are all visiting from North Carolina.
Please take a moment to read the dismissal/arrivals section of the bulletin. There are many notes for all of us to review to ensure the safe and correct arrival and dismissal of all of our little hawks!
Que tengan un feliz domingo! Nos vemos mañana!
Maria
See you soon!
Mr. Miguel Mirabel has been at Barbieri School as one of our custodians since I started working here but I began my Framingham Public Schools career with Miguel at Cameron Middle School. Miguel met me when I was in my classroom until 7 or 8 PM at night and he would come in to clean and could leave right away because there was nothing to clean in my room! He always said I had the cleanest classroom in the school.:-) My husband, then boyfriend, knew more about the night crew, Miguel, Scottie, just to name a couple, since I was doing more socializing during the evenings and knew very little about the teachers on my team. Like all new teachers, I was eating lunch at my desk. Thank you for everything Miguel!!!! Your wife must be excited waiting for you to join her in new adventures and your daughters so proud of you! As you join your wife in retirement (former teacher) I hope that you are able to rest, relax and fulfill your travel bucket list! Don't start any new home projects that will keep you at home, ok? Also, don't forget that I am always up for some yummy homemade flan, you know, during your spare time! Te cuidas amigo! It's been an honor to work with you!
Spanish Language Conversation Assistant ~~~BIENVENIDA~~~
Hello everyone, I was born in Toledo, my birthday is on October 4th. Toledo is a historical medieval Spanish city, 43 miles from Madrid.
I have got a brother. I am the eldest daughter of a family of four members and since I was a child, I showed great interest in art.
At the age of 6, I began playing the piano, finishing my professional music studies in 2020.
I also studied drama for several years.
In my family, we like to travel a lot and to learn about other cultures and languages. We have traveled all over Europe and we have being doing social work in countries like Nepal or Indonesia.
When the time came to decide on the university degree, my educational streak came out, which runs in my family since both, my mother and grandmother, are teachers.
I have always liked children and education, but my vocation arose progressively, as I was studying and doing internships in different schools in my city, developing a great passion for teaching.
My hobbies are listening to music, reading, watching movies, enjoying nature and spending time with my family and friends.

- Parent Pick-Up Notes must be sent in with students everyday if their dismissal is changing and they will be picked up from school instead of riding the bus or attending after school programming.
