Welcome to the week. We will be starting this new newsletter to communicate all events coming up at Stilwell. Our goal will be to have at least a biweekly message with information important to the success of our students and families. This video was shared with all students last week. Dear families,
Your student is invited to join us on an upcoming educational travel experience to Lisbon, Seville and Madrid in Summer 2024 or Peru in Summer 2023!
When students travel, they expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, and grow more confident. These skills are critical for creating the global citizens of tomorrow, and I would love to have your student join me on this adventure.
Come hear all the details, including the itinerary, activities, academic opportunities, the cost of the trip and EF’s risk-free enrollment period at our informational meeting on September 6th at 6:00PM. The meeting will take place on Zoom.

Robotics:
Students interested in Robotics are invited to attend the FIRST Technology Challenge Kick Off/Game Reveal at Norwalk High School 1201 North Ave, Norwalk, IA 50211 this Saturday September 10th. FRC Team 6419 from Valley and Coach Dean Lange and will be on site to answer questions. For more information email langed@wdmcs.org

PBIS Focus
What is Encore? Student that need both support and enrichment will learn this week how the system works at Stilwell. Parents should also learn that on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting the week of Sept 12 thru the end of the year students will be pulled by teachers to get extra help if they have fallen behind in classes.
