Washington Early Learning Center
The Washington Eagles
Week of November 2nd-November 6th, 2015
From the Eagle's Nest!
Dear Families,
Thank you to all the parents who were able to come in for Parent Teacher Conferences! It was a wonderful turn out! I hope you had good conversations with your child's teacher and that 4K is going as well for you as it is for us! It has been a great start to our new program!
As always, feel free to contact me at any time!
Thanks,
Mrs. Nelson
Please mark your calendars!
This week:
Monday, November 2nd: 3:30--PTO meeting at WELC
Friday, November 6th: NO SCHOOL for all EC & 4K students! (End of Quarter)
Upcoming Dates:
Wednesday, November 11: All Star Dips FUNDRAISER forms DUE TODAY!
Friday, November 13: NO SCHOOL (Professional Learning Day for staff)
Thursday & Friday, November 26 & 27: NO SCHOOL (Thanksgiving Break)
All Star Dips! Fall Fundraiser!
It’s easy….the more dips we sell-the more our school earns. Each package of yummy dip sells for $6.00. We earn $3.00 for each package sold. Simply mix each flavor packet with sour cream and mayonnaise to make approximately 16 oz. of dip!
Profits from the sale will benefit all students who attend Washington Early Learning Center and A Child’s Imagination. This is a HUGE opportunity for us as it will help to pay for special events and items for our classrooms.
The Top Seller will receive a gift certificate to Dairy Queen!
Orders, along with money, will be due on NOVEMBER 11th!
If you have questions, please call our office.
End of Day Dismissal Changes?
It would be best if you could send a note to your child's teacher at the beginning of the school day, but if that is not possible, please call the office by 10:00 for the AM session and 1:45 for the PM session.
Late notice of changes make it difficult for us to communicate the information in a timely manner with the classroom teacher and those in charge of busses. We try very hard to get everyone where they need to be each day, and so far the staff has done a tremendous job!
We appreciate your understanding and assistance with this important process!
A Child's Imagination--Note to Parents
If you have a question or concern about something happening within the NJSD 4K program, please contact me directly at 751-6990 x24101 or by email at snelson@neenah.k12.wi.us.
If your child attends ACI for wrap-around care, you should be contacting ACI with any questions or concerns that happen within the non-NJSD portion of your child's day.
I also keep in contact with Cyndie Piehl and we discuss matters that impact both of our programs.
Thanks!
Mrs. Nelson
4K Program Administrator
