Direct Donation Drive
The HGES PTO is kicking off their annual Direct Donation Fundraiser!!!
WHAT: Direct Donation Fundraiser, NO door to door catalog or product sales. 100% of the money stays at HGES to benefit our students and staff.
WHO: YOU! The $18,000 goal cannot be achieved without every family contributing!
WHEN & WHERE: Kick-off is October 7.
- Donate online: http://hgespto.digitalpto.com/direct-donation-fundraiser/
- Watch for forms coming home with students
WHY: HGES has approx. 750 students. PTO expenses grow with our student population and activities benefit ALL STUDENTS. This fundraiser needs to cover annual PTO budgeted expenses. This includes $9,000 in teacher classroom support, $5,000 for field trips (including 5th grade Challenger Science Field Trip), $4,350 for academic & social programs (including Library materials, the Accelerated Reader program, Culture Fair, and socials such as Donuts with Dad/Muffins with Mom), and $3,500 for staff appreciation activities.
*Ancillary fundraising efforts such as Shopping Rewards and Restaurant Nights help fill the budget gaps. The Launch School Carnival also raises funds that have been used towards capital projects such as the recent playground expansion*
We DO NOT want to discontinue these programs so we NEED YOUR HELP!!!
