back the blue day - november 1
Back the Blue Day is scheduled for November 1. It is a day to honor and celebrate the police officers that serve us. We are asking that classrooms take a few moments to write/draw a letter of thanks for us to share with our officers when they tour Jackson. Thank you for helping make this day special! Please wear blue on this day as well.

Assessment Blueprints for 2018-19
Audience: Directors of Schools, Principals, EducatorsContact: TNED.Assessment@tn.gov
The 2018-19 assessment blueprints for social studies, ELA, and math are now available. The blueprints can be found on the department website (here). As a reminder, science will not be operational in 2018-19 due to the transition to new science standards. More information about the design of the science field test will be communicated later this fall.
Additionally, as a reminder, grades 3-5 social studies will take a pause for the 2018-19 school year, so there are no blueprints for grades 3-5 social studies.
