Dear Parents and Families,
Congratulations on the completion of an excellent school year for your student! This year we have worked hard, given our best, and everyone moved a step or two closer to their goals and dreams.
I hope you and your family have a safe and enjoyable summer. If your student and your family are moving on, we will certainly miss you. If you are coming back to Midland next year, I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, August 20th from 5:00-6:30 pm for our Back to School Ice Cream Social!

June 20 ~ Last Day of School 12:20 pm dismissal
5th Grade Promotion: Wednesday, June 19th 2:00-3:00 pm
5th Grade Families: Please mark your calendars for the upcoming 5th grade promotion. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2 pm, so please plan to arrive and be seated before that time.
Volunteers needed
Are you available to help our fifth grade students celebrate their promotion to middle school? We need people to help serve cake on June 19th following our 2:00 recognition. Fifth grade parents need not volunteer…..this is your day to celebrate with your student.
Lost and Found
Message from the Healthroom:
Over-the-counter topical sunscreen products may be possessed and used by students without a written prescription or note from a licensed health care provider if the following conditions are met:
A. The product is regulated by the US Food and Drug Administration as an over-the-counter sunscreen product; and
B. If possessed by a student, the product is provided to the student by their parent or guardian.
Students may carry up to 8 ounces at a time.
Children's Clothing Bank
Parkway Presyterian Church is sponsoring a FREE clothing bank with clean, gently used clothing, and some school supplies on Saturday, August 24th from 9 am to 1 pm. No appointment is needed. Just drop in!

Are you moving?
It is with heavy hearts that we say farewell to the following staff members: Mrs. Albers, Ms. Ballew, Ms. Charlie, Ms. Kessel, Mrs. Humphreys, and Mrs. Strong will be moving on to new venues. We also want to congratulate Mrs. Squires and Mr. Christie on their retirement. We wish the very best for these valued members of our Midland staff. We won’t be the same without them! You will always be a MUSTANG!
