Student deprived of his rights?
Is this okay? (Corey L, Jose V, Eshan P)
Short story
According to my sources, a student, Philip Malloy, who attends Harrison high was suspended for two-days. The reason for this was patriotism towards the national anthem. The youngster was sent to the principle's office multiple times because he was singing the Star Spangled Banner in class while it was playing on the morning announcements.
Did it happen?
While interviewing Dr.Seymour about the situation he commented "We do not have such a rule" which begs the question, why was this boy suspended for breaking a rule that doesn't exist?
