Travel Time
This week brought a lot of travel for some WES students. From the Lincoln Memorial to the Polar Regions, some of our students had quite an adventure...and they never left the campus. Virtual Reality brought these sites to life!
What's for Lunch?
These EES students have been reviewing herbivores, carnivores, omnivores, scavengers, and decomposers with a "roadkill cafe". Did you make your reservation?
Soccer Seniors
The 2020 soccer season will soon begin. Best of luck to our seniors in their final season as Bearcats!
Learning on the Road for CMS
Learning went far beyond the walls of the classroom this week for some CMS students.
Thirty-two super science students recently enjoyed a day of learning about biotechnology at HudsonAlpha Center for Biotechnology in Huntsville.
In addition, twenty-eight top civics students visited the Alabama Department of Archives and History in Montgomery. They were also given a guided on a tour of the Alabama State Capitol building.
Showing How Smart!
These CCPS students are learning "ar" words this week! Practice makes permanent! Look how SMART!
Vehicle Building Challenge
These WES third graders were successful in their first vehicle building challenge! Eight groups in this classroom successfully completed the challenge. Good job!
Don't Blow It
These EES fourth graders have been brainstorming for their Exploding Moment that will be the focus of their upcoming narrative writing.
All That Jazz
Congratulations to CHS Band student Jacob Dye for being selected to the Alabama Bandmasters Association All-State Jazz Band.
CHS Has Got Talent!
America's Got Talent has nothing on CHS. We have it! Check out the video on demand of the CHS Talent Show held this week.
