4 tasks with 15 minutes time limit to program the challenge
Challenge 1 - Ask students to program the robot to create a U for Uvalde
Challenge 2 - Ask students to program the robot to create a C for Coyotes
Challenge 3 - Ask students to program the robot to create A for ACE
Challenge 4 - give students a certain distance to program the robot without hitting an object
Robb ACE 1st Annual Robotics Expo
Robotics an invaluable is resource for teaching science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) skills. It also develops critical thinking, collaboration, and problem solving, along with other 21st century skills such as creativity, imagination, curiosity, and innovation. A curriculum that includes robotics provides students with the ability to take an active role in their own learning and forms a necessary foundation for their lives in the ever-changing world.
Vision
All Robb Elementary students will have the opportunity to experience the excitement and rewards of creating new solutions to real-world challenges by participating in a hands-on science and engineering team project.
Mission
To open doors to the worlds of science and technology for Robb Elementary students, by delivering the TCEA Robotics Challenge programs to 8- 12-year-old children with a focus on reaching those who might not otherwise participate because of their race, gender, or socio-economic status.
