Hi! My name is Nallely Baez, and I am so excited to be part of such a fantastic community here at Padilla Elementary. This is my 4th year teaching, and I am pleased to be part of the 2nd grade team. I graduated from Metropolitan State University in Elementary Education. I obtained my Culturally and Linguistic Education endorsement with Colorado University, where I am currently a student completing my Master's degree and will graduate in December of 2021.

I find it personally rewarding to help students make sense of their learning. I love being in the classroom and can't wait to share my love of learning with my students. I believe in building a community of learners where students can take charge of their learning through fun inquiry-based learning. Our classroom will be a safe learning environment where all students feel welcome, supported, and encouraged to do their best.

Hi Polar Bears! My name is Lauren McGann and I am so thrilled to be joining the Padilla community! I am a Colorado native and my husband and I live very close to the district with our three children. We keep busy spending as much time as possible outdoors and traveling whenever we can to seek new adventures with our family.

I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor's Degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. I then continued my education at Regis University where I received a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. I have spent the last 10 years teaching primary grade levels!

I am looking forward to all of the exciting moments that come with opening a new school! Giving all students access to a high quality education is my passion and what drives my work each and every day. I encourage my students to be leaders of their own learning so they may discover their individual passions. I can’t wait to get to know all of the students and families of this amazing community!
