Hello Ridgewood Families!

We had a great week of school this week! This next week we will kicked off our annual Color Run Fundraiser. We are off to a great start! See the section below for more info.


Next week will be our first RMS Table meeting! See the info below for the date and time.


Also, just a reminder that October 6th is a professional development day for teachers. There will be no school for students that day. Teachers will be attending training on supporting students with Dyslexia.

Color Run Update!

Our RMS Color Run is off to a great start! At the writing of this newsletter, the RMS community has raised over $8,000 dollars toward out goal of $30,000! The money raised will be used to help improve RMS! See flyer below for more info or to donate, click here.

Health Authorization and Permission Form

Please fill out and send back the form below to your child's ACLab teacher. This form gives the school nurse authorization for emergency treatment if a parent cannot be reached as well as permission to administer Tylenol/Tums. Click here for printable copy of the form.

Fox Football Games and Middle School Students

Fox High School encourages students and their families to attend Friday night football games, but during the 2023-2024 athletic season the high schools are requiring all middle school students to be accompanied by their parent or guardian to attend the football games. Reminder: These are school sponsored events and all school rules still apply. Students can be disciplined at school for any behavior issues during these games.

Chess Club

The Chess Club will meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month from 3:00 pm until 4:30 pm. Rides must be here promptly at 4:30 pm. Permission slips are available in room 105.

Cell Phone Policy

Just a reminder that cell phone usage is not allowed during the school day at RMS. Cell phone usage will not be allowed during class, during passing time, or during lunches. Students can use cell phones before and after school. If you need to contact your student, please call the office.

The Table Meeting

We would like to invite all parents to "The Table" our RMS parents club. The Table meets every other month in the RMS library. The first meeting of the year is September 19th from 5pm-6pm. Come and join us!


Also, the table wanted us to pass along teacher's classroom wishlist in case parents would like to help with any teacher needs for their room. Check out the wishlist here
