Intro to Foods Around the World
Have you ever wondered what other people eat around the world? We've all heard that Japan eats sushi and China likes noodles, but what about all the common but unheard of sides and other meals that they eat. Keep on reading to find out what is common in peoples diets around the world.
Meals in
In Brazil the big meal of the day is lunch. You can go home in the middle of the day and eat lunch with your family while dinner is usually a lighter meal that is eaten alone late at night.

Breakfast in Brazil
Main Course-
- Pancakes (can be stuffed with fruit, cheese, salted meat, and or chocolate)
- Misto Quente (toasted ham and cheese sandwich)

Meals in Egypt
Egyptians don't have many designated foods for certain meals, what they buy for their meals is usually cheap and inexpensive food such as rice and or bread. Meats and Sweets are expensive and are only eaten every once and a while. The Qur'an (Muslim holy book) prohibits people from including beef or alcohol in their diets, so those two things in particular are not very popular in Egyptians diets.

Meals in China
There is not a lot to choose from if your an average china citizen living outside of a huge city. Really your only choices are what you grow or what your neighbors grow. Vegetables and fruits are only eaten when in season, and much like Egypt, what is expensive (meats) and inexpensive can determine what you eat for the day.
