Good Samaritan Saves A Life
On Wednesday morning, he was driving in the area of Main and Holly Drive when he encountered a man in medical distress. The gentleman gestured to Jared that he was perhaps having a stroke by tapping on his chest. Jared immediately pulled his truck over, called 911 and radioed back to the warehouse what was going on.
After calling 911, Jared stayed with this gentleman and on the phone communicating with dispatch.
He did not leave the scene until paramedics had picked the patient up.
The paramedics were very appreciative of Jared's heroics and expressed that if he had not been there the situation could have been much worse for this individual. I share this story with the district because Jared showed kindness and compassion, two of the very traits we try to teach our students every day. Way to practice what we preach Jared!!
