Student Collbaoration
Collaboration is one of the keys to successfully demonstration understanding of the outcomes and competencies in Alberta. We need to provide students with opportunities to work together and using these site may be beneficial in your classroom.

Lino is a free sticky & canvas service that requires nothing but a Web browser. Share ideas & photos and have discussions.

Blendspace
* for age 13+
"Blendspace is a free web tool for teachers to collect resources in one place to form a bundled, interactive lesson for students or colleagues." However, students can use it as well to collect information, display their knowledge all while working together.

Attend Online or in Person
When you RSVP you will be able to attend online if you choose using Google Hangouts On Air. Don't know how to do that? No problem! Heather will send you a link and when the PD starts (3:30pm) you click the link and you are in. You could be sitting at your desk working, somewhere else on your phone, or anywhere where you have a web connection and still participating and observing.
