The Lymantria dispar dispar or the Gypsy Moth are an invasive species. The male species are a light brown moth and have a slender like body. and the female are white and have a heavy body.

The Gypsy moth was first introduced in North America in the late 1981 near Boston. And they were last seen on south of a line from sault ste. Marie East to North Bay and Mattawa
Crimes committed/ attempts to capture
The Gypsy moth weaken leaves and trees by eating them and causes holes in the leaves. In attempts to catch it authorities have removed the eggs or destroy it to help tree's/ plant's
