Information about KHS Rumor

Dear Parents of KHS Students,
With the help of of our amazing students, the administrative team became aware of rumors regarding an act of violence that could happen at Kuna High School on September 17, 2021. We are writing to inform you that the rumors are untrue and that our campus is safe and secure.
We take all threats seriously, even when determined to be a rumor. As an extra safety precaution, we will have additional police presence on our campus on September 17.
We are thankful for all of you who help us keep an extra eye out for potential issues. Please continue to help us by immediately correcting any rumors regarding September 17 that you hear about or see on social media and caution your child to do the same.
Also, please educate and inform your child about the extra precautions we are taking to ensure the safety of our school. Finally, continue to encourage your child to inform administrators or teachers of any discussions they are aware of regarding plans for violence on our campus. Our partnerships with school personnel, students, parents, community, and police will continue to keep Kuna High School a safe place for students to learn and grow.
