DreamBox Weekly Update
Week of February 24-28
Do your students avoid a challenge?
Productive struggle is when the brain grows. Learning is at its stickiest when students make mistakes and use feedback to try again. Stella can identify when students don’t fully understand. She will provide differentiation for the learner giving them an opportunity to try again within the lesson. When students are stuck, try these ideas:
· What does the help/hint button tell you to do?
· Give it your best try and see what Stella says?
· Stay positive and keep trying.
Thank you, Allyson O’Rourke, for these tips. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn from Allyson on March 2nd and March 3rd at the DreamBox Data Learning Meeting. Register for the meeting by clicking the below button.

DreamBox Wall of Fame
Who is on your wall of fame?
One of my FAVORITE things to do is listen to teachers tell about how DreamBox has grown students.
A fourth-grade teacher at our campus introduced me to a student on the fourth-grade wall of fame. This student began fourth grade with gaps in her learning standards. She has been on the wall of fame repeatedly for completing the most lessons. Last week she completed 101 lessons. She is making amazing growth this year. Celebrating teacher and student growth is so rewarding.
I encourage you to look for examples of student and teacher growth at your campus. Start conversations with teachers about how DreamBox is impacting students.
