Please note the enrollment fee for Douglas-Sarpy counties is $10.00 per member and is paid by check at this time. Checks should be made payable to University of Nebraska-Lincoln and mailed to our office at 8015 W. Center Road, Omaha 68124 to the attention of Mary Dierks. We are currently working with 4honline to get the online payment open for families. A message will be shared when 4honline is ready to accept online payments.

Clover Kid New Year’s Celebration
Parents and children ages 5-7 are invited to be a part of the Douglas-Sarpy 4-H Clover Kid Program, Fall Nature activities.
- December 11 (10 am -12 pm) - New Year’s Celebration at Noon
- Douglas-Sarpy Extension office.
Nebraska Extension Douglas-Sarpy Counties is located at 8015 West Center Road, Omaha. There is no cost to attend, but participants are asked to preregister with Rachel at rwright4@unl.edu.

January 18 from 6-7 pm –Smart Cents - Financial Literacy
February 15 from 6-7 pm – Science Spectacular
March 15 from 6-7 pm – Chickens and learning more about the 4-H Speech Contest
April 19 from 6-7 pm– Gardening Basics and Learning about Rabbits
Special Garden Project
The Special Garden Project gives 4-H members the opportunity to try growing a new and unusual vegetable or flower each year. The project allows experienced 4-H gardeners to grow something fun and exciting while letting those who are newer to gardening get their feet wet in the horticulture project area.

SERVICE ITEMS - Can include but aren’t limited to lap quilt, Quilt of Valor and homemade toys. Only non-perishable items will be accepted. Attached to the exhibit should be an explanation of who the recipient was and how the service project was made and used. The service item could be part of a larger community service effort.

The Nebraska 4-H Livestock Achievement Program is designed to promote all educational aspects of 4-H livestock projects including selection, production, leadership, and exhibition by recognizing youth striving to improve in their livestock project knowledge and leadership. Did you know Nebraska 4-H is a member of the Shop 4-H affiliate marketing program? This program rewards LGU’s for referring customers to Shop 4-H with 5% cashback on purchases made within 30 days of a referral link click.
How Does It Work?
Nebraska 4-H has a unique referral code attached to all links to Shop4-H.org on our websites (4h.unl.edu, 4hcurriculum.unl.edu). When a user clicks one of those links, the referral code tells Shop 4-H that the person was referred by us. Then, 5% of any purchases they make within 30 days is sent back to the Nebraska 4-H Foundation.
