Halloween Parade and Supply Pick Up - Oct. 30

To make the process run smoothly and keep a safe social distance, a schedule by grade has been created. Only the specified grade levels will be served during each time frame. We will have treat bags for each student. We’ll have the music playing as well! Come dressed in your costumes!

What pick-up will look like:

  1. Please make a sign at home with your child. (Signs should contain student’s name and teacher name). Make some fun Halloween signs as well!

  2. Please follow signage and directions from staff members in the driveway. NO PARKING.

  3. Families must stay in the vehicle.

  4. A staff member/teacher will deliver your items. Each student will receive a Halloween treat bag.

  5. Cars should pull up as families leave and open your trunk if possible.

  6. We will place the bag in your trunk and close it so you can leave.

  7. For safety reasons, please wear your masks as staff approach your vehicles.

School-Wide Spirit Days

Once per month, we will celebrate our Lietz Pride together, by dressing up with a spirit theme. On these days, I will send out a special announcement, which will include one of our very own Lietz students leading us in our Lietz Upstander Pledge. Each month, a teacher will nominate one of their students, who has been showing their PAWS during distance learning, to take on this leadership role! So don't forget to show your PAWS wherever you go!

Spirit Dates and Themes:

10/30: Dress up for Halloween!

11/20: Fancy Pants Day (Pull out those ties and and faux fur!)

12/18: Hawaiian Day

1/29: Crazy Hair Day

2/26: Sport Your Favorite Sporting Team Day

3/19: Decade Day

4/23: We're Outta This World Day (Think Outer Space!)

Spirit Day photos will be featured in our newsletter and on our website!
