Dawgsboro Schools are Now BYOD!
4th & 5th Grade Students asked to "Bring Your Own Device"
New Technology Policy
On behalf of Dawgsville Community Schools, I am thrilled to announce our new BYOD policy regarding educational technology. With the rapidly growing student population at Dawgsboro Schools, the personal device approach is held as the best direction for the school district. Technology is now a fundamental part of today's educational system, and we want our students to get the most benefit from these online tools. Starting on September 3rd, 2015, wish for our students to invest in a personal device (laptop or tablet), and that device will be utilized to foster academic growth until graduation day.
5 Benefits of Mobile Learning (from Helen Crompton)

- Context-Aware

Crompton, a published structural technology professor at Old Dominion University, praised Mobile Learning for its flexible approach for students, ability to solve real-life scenarios, and ease for teachers to connect them with stimulating educational material.
