The Lombards

The Lombards originated in Scandinavia and migrated to Pannonia. They were considered the final blow to the fall of the Roman Empire. The Lombards were known for their cruelty and were incredibly good at war. They survived by raiding other tribes and were identified by their white leggings. The Lombards were defeated after more than 200 years of power in less than a year by Charlemagne. The Lombards had helped shape the continent into modern Europe.
