*Free Traders*

Free trade is based on agreements between nations to drop import barriers. Countries' governments wants 0 restrictions on imports from or exports to another country. They believe a variety of different goods and resources will make the economy grow and give people different things to specialize in. Examples of free trade is NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) and EU (European Union).

*Protectionist*

Protectionists have a policy restraining trade between countries. Protectionists use trade barriers to limit or stop trade all together. Tariffs, quotas, and embargoes are examples of trade barriers. They add taxes and add a limit on imported goods.
