LVES Bus Safety Day
Counselor Corner...
The monthly character trait for September is trustworthiness, and our wonderful counselor Ms. Box has been visiting with students everyday. Here's what she's been talking about...Throughout the month, I visited each classroom and we discussed
what it means to be trustworthy and why it is so important.
Students heard stories such as The Boy Who Cried Wolf and The Empty Pot. We had great discussions and students gave examples of what being trustworthy looks like with parents, friends, and teachers. Each classroom made a pledge to be trustworthy and signed their name on the trustworthy poster board. Each grade level will have their poster board displayed in their hallway next week as a reminder of their promise to be trustworthy.Box Tops
Weekly Attendance Rate
- 96%
Remember our weekly goal is 97%, so please make sure that your child is at school everyday from 7:45-2:45.
If our attendance average at the end of the 1st nine weeks is 97% or higher, Mr. Holt is going to shave his head!
